Faz tempo que não dou nenhuma dica sobre alimentação na gravidez. Pois esses dias tomei um susto com a descoberta de uma infecção urinária detectada nos exames corriqueiros de acompanhamento da gestação. No inicio, fiquei um pouco assustada, mas meu obstetra me acalmou dizendo que é um problema frequente entre grávidas. Mas tem de ser tratado, obviamente. Bom, fora seguir fielmente todas as recomendações do seu médico, podemos também tomar atitudes preventivas, como a ingestão de cranberry.
Isso mesmo, uma pesquisa realizada pela Cochrane Collaboration comprovou que o consumo regular desta frutinha que não é lá muito conhecida pelos brasileiros, pode diminuir em até 35% as suas chances de ter uma infecção urinária. Pode ser em forma de sucos ou até em cápsulas – essas são mais difíceis de ser encontradas por aqui, mas nos Estados Unidos, tem em qualquer farmácia. Estou grávida de 16 semanas e já tive infecção 2 vezes, quero saber se posso tomar suco de cranberry; quantas vezes por dia e se se eu tomar este suco não fará mal para meu bebê.
Oi, Suelen! Acho que, em primeiro lugar, você tem que falar com seu obstetra mas, até onde eu sei, o suco de cranberry não tem contra-indicação. Não tenho nenhum cinhecimento médico, mas, pelo que pesquisei, o legal é tomar um copo de manhã e outro à noite. Mas a medida é mais para evitar do que para curar a infecção… Não deixe de consultar seu médico! Bjos, Ligia.
